  • Maximum Radiator thickness supported for the 925?

    Hi All,

I'm looking at getting a new 925 case, but cant for the life of me find anywhere what the maximum thickness is supported for the radiators both for top and front mounting.
Product and user manual both say 360 (front once HDD cage is removed), but is that both at the same time? And the thickness? 20mm? 30mm? 40mm? 90mm?
Why do manufactures always do this? You don't see Volkswagen advertising tire support for the golf R as just 17", 18" or 19", so why do PC manufactures consistently give us only 10% of the required information?

What do you think my chances are of fitting a 73mm thick 360 rad in the front and top? Mobo I'm using is the Maxumis VIII formula, which according to the web page is 30mm shorter than the maximum support for the 925 so that should buy me back some room. Really wanted to put the EK Quantum Kinetic FLT 360 in between the gpu and the front rad as well.

The thickness for front radiator with fans is up to 9 cm. (for 360 you have to remove a cage in the bottom). ; for the top, the thickness is up to 7.5cm.

Thanks, i really Liked it ! The InWin 925 chassis is mainly built from 4mm thick brushed aluminium panels which have been cut and flexed to provide gently rounded edges and alluring curves. The front panel is quite minimal with just a subtle ARGB logo (compatible with Asus, MSI, Gigabyte, ASRock lighting sync systems) towards the upper area and to its right, around one of the curved edges you will find the power button, 1 x USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C, 2 x USB3.0, and HD Audio ports. There are no external bays to interrupt the flow of the design. To the left side of the chassis is a tempered glass panel which shows off the components you have fitted.

In Win 925 is the best case I've had for the last few years. And it has so much potential! I'm also using a Custom Distro Plate for my build. I can share the specs later, when it's finished.

Please give me a copy of the Maelstrom complete tower User Manual. I can't seem to locate mine and will have to investigate. Thank you so much for everything.
