    307 GLOW troubleshooting

    I recently got a 307 and I can't get the GLOW software to work, it says Device disconnected...

    I am using a Gigabyte H370N WIFI motherboard. I think it is the DWE connection? I plug it into the usb connector of the motherboard and it lists in device manager as unknown usb device(device descriptor request failed). The case shows the clock in white and the led buttons don't control anything. Any troubleshooting tips?

    Hello All,

    Thank you for your patience. The updated software is now available on the official website. Please remove the previous software and install the new one.

    Hello All,

    Our engineers are working hard to provide a new version of GLOW. That should be coming soon.

    Just a reminder, Glow software is for the 307 only. GLOW2 is for the 309.

    ************** JIT Debugging **************
    To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
    application or computer (machine.config) must have the
    jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
    The application must also be compiled with debugging
    enabled.

    For example:

    <configuration>

    Thank you! I suspected as much. Looks like I will have to find a way to connect the two then.

    Will report back if this fixes my issue.

    I am also using an InWin 307 case. All cables from the case are connected to the motherboard except for the "HD Audio" cable, which a) seems to have different connectors than my motherboard, and b) the cable cannot reach the HD audio port of my motherboard anyway.

    My front LED panel is working fine. The front panel buttons are working fine - I can cycle through the default patterns (Night Light, Candle, etc.) using the buttons on the case. I want to create my own custom pattern which requires me to use the GLOW software, but I cannot access GLOW because of the mentioned .NET Framework issue. I am using the GLOW V1.0.0 software from the InWin 307 link (https://www.in-win.com/en/gaming-chassis/307).

    Here are my specs and system information:

    Motherboard: Asus ROG X570-F Gaming
    CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
    OS: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro
    OS Version: 10.0.18363 Build 18363
    System Type: x64-based PC

    I can't seem to attach the .NET Framework error screenshot here ("You are not authorized to create or remove attachments."). To describe: the error popup shows immediately after starting the GLOW software. There's an option to click Continue, but the error will keep repeating.

    Below is the full copy-paste of the error details:

    ************** JIT Debugging **************
    To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
    application or computer (machine.config) must have the
    jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
    The application must also be compiled with debugging
    enabled.

    For example:

    <configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
    </configuration>

    When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
    will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
    rather than be handled by this dialog box.

    2. Can you provide the error framework screenshot?
    3. Please check if the control buttons on the I/O panel work or not.
    4. Did you connect the audio devices, such as speakers or earphone etc? If yes, please check if they are functioning properly.
    5. Please check the USB cable and the SATA cables are connected properly.
