  • Inwin 101 Black

I bought an Inwin 101 Black tower with the expectation that the LED on the front would be red as it was advertised. However, the LED is blue. What do I need to do to change the LED to red or am I stuck with this blue LED? Please be as specific as possible.

You may have received the updated version of the 101 that's RGB. You can change the color by connecting directly to a motherboard's 4-pin, 12V header, or purchase an LED controller.

Also, are there versions where the case is black and comes with blue LED? How do I know that I have the RGB version?

It's the RGB connector, but only do so if your motherboard has a 4-pin, 12v header. If not, you will need an LED controller.

The original standard was black and red only. It's likely that you have the RGB version and the default lighting is on blue.
