My old In Win 901 before upgrading to the In Win 805 chassis =), may consider doing a revised build in it once I have the time and budget.

Does anyone know what the two-pin fan-type connector that comes out of the 901's ODD bay is? I'm making a list of extension cables I need to get in order for the 901 to work with my motherboard and I don't know what it is!

I have had to run the on/off cables through the fan bay and have one side panel off as the supplied cables are not quite long enough for where my motherboard's headers are. I can just about get the SATA cable for the ODD to connect but it's a real squeeze. I imagine the two-pin thing is for the power, but where it connects I don't know. I wish the instructions supplied had some more close-up pictures of what all the connectors and wires were.

Do you mind providing us with a picture?

Here you are. This and the SATA cable are the only connectors coming out from the ODD bay.

You'd need to connect to the 4-Pin at the top.

I'm sorry Johnny, I don't follow you. Which four-pin at the top of what?

If you look at the top of the picture you provided, there appears to be a free black four-pin available, that's what you need to connect it with.

Thanks! Are we talking about the black molex connector? I've been looking for a fan-type thing which my PSU doesn't have (but I think previous ones did). Can I really just plug those together?

As long as it is a small 4-pin (Molex), than it will work.

Thanks again Johnny. I suppose ideally I would have one of these? Apparently a molex-floppy connector. the closest I have on the PSU (the black one in the picture) is a normal female molex.

Do PSUs usually come with such an attachment? I wish there was something in the instructions explaining this. Apart from this nonsense with the short cables (for my motherboard) it's a lovely case.

The female molex connector must be polarised, so which is the positive pin in the ODD connector so I can get it the right way round if I'm going to jam it in?

I don't recommend you force it. It should look a little something like below. It's a small. Most PSUs have this, but if your's don't, you will likely need an adapter.

No, there's not one on the PSU. That looks the same as the one on the adaptor I posted above, so I think that solves the mystery. I'll add one to my list of cables to get...

Thanks for all the help Johnny! I'm looking forward to getting the sides of the case on...

Oh, by the way - do you know if power switch/LED extensions are available? My motherboard's header is by the back plate, so to get the case's supplied cable to reach I had to remove it from its cable ties, run it through the 120mm fan bay and around the front of the case! if I could add a few centimetres to it, it'd be fine.
